A real register for the nights someone is there.
Check a group in, run a tab for each golfer, send food to the kitchen and drinks to the bar, split the check, take the card and close the day — in the same system that took the booking. No separate POS subscription, and if you have no bar it simply stays out of the way.
What the counter does
Check-in that does the maths
Count the golfers and the counter works out each share, member rates, deposits already paid and credit owed, and says what to collect.
A tab per golfer
Ring golf, food and drinks onto each person. Items move or share between people and the pennies always reconcile.
Kitchen and bar tickets
Each menu category routes to its printer — kitchen, bar or counter — and carries its own tax category.
Card, cash or check
Card-present payments on a Stripe reader, cash with the change worked out and the drawer kicked from the receipt printer, checks recorded.
Refunds with a reason
Any staff member can give money back off a paid line, with a reason. It lands on the owner’s daily review beside comps and voids.
End of Day
Sales by category, tax, payments by method, refunds and expected cash from what was actually rung. Count the drawer and close; the Z report prints.
Signed by name, reviewed by the owner
Staff sign in on a keypad and every action carries their name. Comps, voids and refunds wait on the owner’s dashboard for a check mark. Employees have their own phone page with shifts, open shifts to claim and their hours, and the owner’s schedule flags any staffed hour nobody covers.
The counter is part of the same box as the booking, the door and the bays: no monthly fee, nothing per terminal or per employee. See what it costs to run.

Questions
Do I need a separate POS for food and drinks?
No. Golf, food and drinks ring through one system, on a tab per golfer, with kitchen and bar printers and a card reader. If you serve nothing, leave the menu empty and the counter is just check-in and payment.
Can checks be split?
Yes - evenly, by seat, or by moving and sharing items between people; the checks always add up to the tab exactly.
What card reader does it use?
A Stripe reader for card-present payments at the in-person rate. Cash pops a printer-driven drawer, and every drawer opening is logged with the employee.
Is there a fee per terminal or per employee?
No. The software is a one-time purchase with no monthly fee, and nothing is charged per terminal, per bay, per door or per employee.
